Our Storage Vaults
Our storage vaults are quality made utilizing industry standards for storage vault construction and are better than what you may find at most public storage facility. Vaults come in standard sizes, or can be custom designed and engineered to your specifications. Our storage vaults are constructed with a 1″ x 4″ lumber frame and 3/8″ Fir plywood construction which is heavier than other vault sides, end panels and top panels. The vault floor is constructed with one piece of solid 1/2” plywood on a 2 x 4 frame braced on 3 anti-tip runners made from solid 4″ x 4″ and 4″ x 4″ blocking. The base construction allows for easy access on all 4 sides. Our storage vaults are also designed so that they can be locked shut, and nobody will have access to your storage vault. Our Facilities
When you choose to store your personal belongings at the Professional Movers.com 16,000 square foot warehouse, you will be choosing to receive endless advantages over storing with other companies. Our warehouse, centrally located in Walled Lake, Michigan, is a state-of-the-art facility. It is climate controlled so your items will never be damaged due to freezing or scorching hot weather. The building is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with a top-of-the-line security system which is wired directly to the local police and fire departments. This security system includes motion sensors and coded alarm access. Admittance is highly controlled and authorized access is only granted to on-site storage staff with pre-approved background checks.
Protecting Your Items
Another advantage of storing with Professional Movers.com is that every single piece of furniture will be individually protected while inside our storage vaults. We will pad wrap everything, using the industry’s best premium moving pads. We have three different sizes of rubber bands to ensure that the premium pads hold to your furniture, and cover the entire surface area. We make sure to evenly distribute the weight of your items throughout the storage vaults so that there is no shifting while your items are in storage. Large, heavy items are placed on the bottom, and small, lighter items are carefully stacked on top to maximize efficiency and fit the most possible items in each vault. Each vault usually hold up to 1 ½ rooms of furniture, and you can request as many vaults as you would like.
Inventory of Your Items
What if you need to access just one small piece of furniture while it is in storage? No problem, Professional Movers.com has you covered! Each and every item that you store with us will be inventoried before it is placed into our storage vaults. This inventory includes the exact condition of every item that will be entrusted to us. You will receive a copy of this detailed, easy to read inventory list before we transport your belongings. This inventory list grants you two separate advantages. First, you will know the exact condition of your items before they went into storage. By taking this detailed inventory, you can be assured that your items will return to you in the same exact condition. Pictured inventory is also available upon request. The second advantage of our inventory system is that you won’t have to go searching for a single piece of furniture. We can look up the inventory number, and that will tell us exactly which storage vault that item is in, and where in the storage vault it is located.
