How do you estimate office moves?
All office moves are estimated by an Office Moving Consultant. The free office estimate takes place on-site at your current office location. A walk-through is performed to record all items that need to be moved and uncover any variables. Based on the size and scope of the move, the Office Moving Consultant will assign the necessary amount of movers and trucks to complete the job. Any additional services required, such Rental Crates & Packing Material, will be included in the estimate. A PDF estimate is sent that outlines the details of the office move. The total estimated cost is determined by the number of movers, amount of trucks, packing supplies, and time.
Do you hire outside labor?
We do NOT use a temporary labor or 1099 independent contractors on any office move projects. Our movers arrive to job-sites on-time, in uniform, and prepared to work within an office environment. Yes. Professional Movers.com understands that computers and IT equipment are the heart of many operations and requires specialty care to transport. All computer towers and monitors are labeled, wrapped in anti-static bubble bags, and carefully loaded into speed pack transportation boxes. All additional components such as, cables, phones, docking stations, keyboards, and mice are packed into large zip-lock PC bags and labeled. Do you move flat screen televisions?
Yes. Professional Movers.com provides Rental Flat Screen Television Boxes for all office moves. Your Professional Movers.com’s Office Moving Consultant will contact building management to fulfill any rules and requirements the building may have. Also, Professional Movers.com will confirm the allowed moving times, required building protection, and present an insurance certificate to building management.
Do you perform packing services for office moves?
Professional Movers.com is able to provide expert office packers and packing supplies on any office move. If your office requires packing services please inform your Office Moving Consultant during the walk-through. Do you offer building protection for office moves?
Professional Movers.com offers building protection on every job to protect the floors, walls, doors, and necessary thresholds. We use masonite, carpet shield, corrugated wall protection, door jam protectors, and door cover protectors. Any additional protection or precautions is discussed when Working with Building Management.
How do you factor in last minute changes for office moves?
You should contact your Office Moving Consultant if any last minute changes occur. If you are not able or the change takes place during the move our intelligent Office Moving Supervisors are trained to react to last minute changes. The Office Moving Supervisor is able to reassess and create a new move plan to counter any changes. Do your rates change depending on the day or time?
Standard hourly rates apply Monday through Saturday. Our rates are increased for all Sunday and holiday moves. We are able to work with your company to help select the best time to perform your office move that does not conflict with office hours or building management restrictions.
