That is why Professional Movers.com, depending on our inventory of used boxes, will give away free used boxes to our customers for their upcoming relocation. Not only does this help our customers save money, but it is great for the environment as well. It is a win-win situation!
If we currently do not have any used boxes in stock, you can try looking on www.Freecycling.com. This is a website where people post items that they are looking to give away. It is a great place to find free, used boxes from someone who has recently moved. Also, if you have used boxes that you are looking to get rid of, Professional Movers.com will pick them up from you and add them to our used box inventory. This helps to ensure that everyone receives their share of free, used boxes, and that perfectly good boxes stay out of our landfills.
If you have boxes, yet they are no longer usable, don’t throw them away! There are many places that you can go to recycle this cardboard. Some places may even pay you for the cardboard you give them! Locally, we use General Mill in Wixom, MI (www.genmill.com) This unusable cardboard can be broken down and recycled into brand new cardboard boxes, so recycling old boxes is the way to go.
